      Pediatric Hospitalist Practice Medical Director - Denver, Colorado



Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our wellestablished pediatric hospitalist program at SkyRidge Medical Center in the Denver metropolitan area. This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinical leader who is passionate about advancing pediatric inpatient care while working with a highly collaborative team in one of the most desirable cities in the country.


Position Overview

The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership, oversee program operations, and support quality and performance initiatives within the pediatric hospitalist service line. This role includes both administrative and clinical responsibilities, with dedicated administrative time provided.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician who thrives in a leadership capacity while still enjoying the clinical practice of hospital medicine.

Position Highlights
  • Leadership role overseeing the pediatric hospitalist program, including quality, compliance, scheduling, and provider development
  • Clinical responsibilities include inpatient pediatric admissions, rounding, consultations, and coordination of care
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary environment working closely with neonatology, emergency medicine, nursing, and hospital leadership

  • Dedicated administrative time for leadership and program management

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Minimum 2+ years of pediatric hospitalist experience preferred
  • Prior leadership or administrative experience strongly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidencebased, familycentered care
