**APP – Hospitalist (Inpatient Medicine)**
**Location: Hartford, CT**
**Board-Certified/Eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner**
• Opportunity to join a large, vibrant, and growing hospitalist program at a major teaching hospital in Hartford, Connecticut
• Full-spectrum inpatient medicine within a collaborative hospitalist team
• Comprehensive orientation provided for both new and experienced providers
Compensation & Incentives:
• Market-leading compensation and comprehensive benefits package
• Up to $30,000 annually in differential pay on top of base salary
• Premium differentials for night shifts
• Generous paid time off
Position Details:
• Role: Open to Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (APRN)
• Setting: Inpatient medicine – Hospitalist
• Schedule: Full-time nights, flexible schedule
• Shift Coverage: Monday–Sunday
• Call Schedule: No call
Clinical Responsibilities:
• Triaging, admitting, rounding, and discharging patients
• Managing changes in clinical status
• Performing routine physical examinations
• Developing medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
• Coordinating care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Referring appropriately for evaluation beyond scope of practice
• Providing treatment within established protocols and guidelines
Advanced Practice Provider Support:
• Dedicated system-wide support through the Office of Advanced Practice
• Collaborative, integrated healthcare network allowing continuity of care statewide
• State-of-the-art clinical technology including EPIC EMR
• Robust informatics tools to enhance patient outcomes and provider satisfaction
