**Location: Hartford, CT**

• Opportunity to join a high-volume General Surgery team performing cutting-edge surgeries, including robotic procedures
• Advanced Practitioners (APPs) are primary clinical drivers of care and consistently first-assist in the OR
• Subspecialties include emergency general surgery, bariatric, colorectal, minimally invasive, and hepatobiliary surgeries
• Upcoming robotic training program for APPs to perform advanced robotic surgeries
Role & Position Details:
• Role: Open to Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners
• Setting: Inpatient, General Surgery
• Location: Hartford, CT
• Schedule: Full-time, 3×13 hour shifts, mainly Monday–Friday 6 AM–7:30 PM
• Premium differentials offered
• Call schedule: No call
APP Scope of Practice:
• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
• Develop evaluation plans in consultation with physicians and care team members, including referrals
• Provide treatment within scope of practice per established protocols
• Identify issues outside scope and refer appropriately to physicians

Qualifications:
• Unrestricted Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
• Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
