Orthopedic Spine Physician Assistant Coastal Opportunity at McLeod Health Seacoast

• Deliver comprehensive care to spine patients, providing expert evaluation and management of both axial and radicular spine conditions, conservative treatment options, and attentive postoperative care.
• Partner closely with supervising physician Eric D. Nabors, MD (Orthopedics/Spine Surgery) to support a thriving, high-volume spine practice.
• Collaborate within a strong, multidisciplinary orthopedic team of 22 providers—including physicians and APPs—supported by exceptional clinical and administrative staff.
• Maintain a predictable and balanced weekly schedule:
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Manage a clinical caseload consisting of 90% outpatient spine care and 10% OR support, providing care for 15–25 spine patients daily.
• Participate in a structured, hands-on onboarding experience featuring shadowing, EPIC training, imaging immersion, and guided spine-care pathway education.
• Contribute to the APP pooled call model as needed, supporting patient access and continuity of care.

• Preferred: 5+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant, ideally within orthopedic or neurosurgical spine care.
• Proven ability to practice autonomously in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Strong competency in spine imaging interpretation, postoperative care pathways, and urgent spine assessment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• A proactive, efficiency-driven mindset dedicated to enhancing clinic flow and expanding patient access.
