Job Description
Locums opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to be part of a Mobile Unit for Primary Care services and cover the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland near and around Salisbury, MD.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Coverage to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing until perm is hired
- Will work in a Mobile Unit with an RN and travel within the Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties
- Adult patients - 4-8 patients per day depending on travel
- Mon-Thurs - 9 hour day
- Will meet with patients in homes, community settings, and public areas
- Primary care services including the mentally ill and addiction issues in psychiatric rehab
- Director meets with patients first to make sure they are a fit for the program
- Must have at least 1+ yrs exp in Primary Care as NP
- Will be provided a mobile unit, laptop, cell phone, and RN daily
- Competitive hourly rate with malpractice covered
