Located in Middlesboro, Kentucky
**About the Position**
A regional health system serving southeastern Kentucky and southern West Virginia is seeking a **Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist** to join a growing specialty team in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
This position offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive gastrointestinal care within a collaborative and physician-focused environment. Physicians work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a health system committed to improving access and outcomes in an underserved region while supporting advanced specialty services.
**Position Highlights**
-Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions including liver, pancreatic, esophageal, and colorectal disorders
-Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD)
-Collaborate closely with primary care, surgery, oncology, and radiology teams
-Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
