**About the Position**
A well-established nonprofit healthcare system in central Nebraska is seeking a **Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist** to join a collaborative pathology team serving two hospital campuses in Hastings and Grand Island.
This role provides laboratory leadership and comprehensive diagnostic services across both facilities. The incoming physician will work alongside two full-time pathologists while collaborating closely with laboratory leadership, clinicians, and hospital administration to support high-quality patient care.
The position includes responsibilities across surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology within a supportive hospital environment.
**Position Highlights**
-Provide anatomic and clinical pathology coverage across two hospital campuses
-Interpret laboratory specimens and provide diagnostic evaluations including disease identification and staging
-Perform surgical pathology and cytopathology services
-Collaborate with laboratory leadership and clinicians to support quality laboratory operations
-Maintain accurate medical documentation and pathology reporting
-Participate in medical staff activities and fulfill responsibilities outlined in medical staff bylaws
