Interventional Radiologist needed for Orange, CA.  Near Irvine.

The Role:

• Amount of coverage needed per month: 8-10 Shifts a Month
• Schedule: Weekday and weekend coverage needed.
• Shift Details: 8+ hour shifts. No call coverage. Depending on case load, hours differ each day. Sometimes MD work 8, sometimes 12.
• Support staff: 3 Interventional Radiology NP’s for support
• Procedures:
• Angiography: mesenteric, pulm, renal, arteries, run off
• Venous & Arterial Stents
• Embolization: gi, tumor, uterine, splenic, chemo (seeded beds)
• Renal/Illiac Stent
• Thrombolysis
• CT guided radiofrequency ablations
• Central Venous lines (subclavian/Jugular)
• Port placements
• Dialysis fistula
• TUPS
• Percutaneous drainage
• Image-guided biopsies other than CNS and spine- which are done by neurointerventional team.
• Biliary interventions
• EMR: Epic
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• License required: CA License
• Credentialing: 30-45 Days
