Job Description
**Why This Role**
- Opportunity to support a busy cardiothoracic surgery service
- Blend of inpatient rounding, clinic coverage, and call responsibilities
- Collaborative surgical team environment within a large health system
**Assignment Details**
- Start date May 4, 2026
- Coverage through September 30, 2026
- Scheduled clinical hours with beeper call coverage
- Coverage includes clinic responsibilities and inpatient rounding
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 90–120 days
**Clinical Details**
- Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient cardiothoracic surgery care
- Responsibilities include patient evaluation, hospital rounding, and perioperative care
- Practice supported by a multidisciplinary surgical team
- Trauma Level I facility
- EMR: Epic
**Requirements**
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Board Certified
- Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC required
- ACLS & BLS required
- Experience in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery preferred
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
