**Locum Tenens | Cardiothoracic Surgery | Clinic + Call | Zanesville, OH (IMLC accepted)**
**Why This Role**
- Comprehensive cardiothoracic and vascular surgery practice
- Blend of weekday clinical coverage and weekend call
- Ongoing vacation coverage with additional future blocks anticipated
**Assignment Details**
- Start date 5/18/2026
- Ongoing coverage with multiple future blocks expected
- Weekday coverage includes 8-hour clinical shifts plus after-hours call
- Weekend coverage includes 24-hour beeper call Friday 5pm through Monday 7am
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 40 days
**Clinical Details**
- Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery coverage
- 6-bed surgical service
- Case mix includes CABG, valve repair and replacement, aneurysm repair, TAVR, lung resections, and thoracic procedures
- Responsibilities include ventilator management, bronchoscopy, and hemodynamic management
- Support staff includes RNs, MAs, and APPs
- EMR: Epic
**Requirements**
- Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active Ohio license or IMLC
- ACLS, BLS, ATLS, ABLS, and PALS required
- Ability to perform open and endovascular cardiothoracic procedures
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
