Job Details
Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call
Practice setting: Outpatient, inpatient, telehealth
Schedule: Clinic Monday _ Friday, 8:00 AM _ 5:00 PM during onsite weeks
Rotation: Two weeks per month onsite clinic with call, two weeks per month virtual call coverage
Call: Night call during clinic weeks and 24 hour weekend call
Call type: Beeper call with 20 minute response time
Virtual coverage: 24 hour call during remote weeks
Patients per day: approximately 15
EMR: Epic
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
Providers requested: 2

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluation and management of pediatric endocrine conditions
Outpatient pediatric endocrinology clinic visits
Inpatient consults as needed
Telehealth consults and virtual hospital call coverage
Phone consults for patient management and care coordination

Support Structure
Collaborative care environment with nursing and medical assistant support
APP team support within the endocrinology service line
No supervision of advanced practice providers required

Requirements
Board Certified in Pediatrics
Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship required
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
PALS certification required
