Clinical duties
- Interpret and report breast imaging: screening and diagnostic mammography, breast diagnostic studies
- Provide services across hospital and affiliate imaging sites
- Respond to phone consults as needed
- Document all care in Epic EMR and follow imaging protocols and patient-care standards
Patient population and workflow
- Adults only
- Case mix focused on breast imaging and diagnostic workflow
- No admissions or rounding required
Facility and support
- No trauma designation
- EMR: Epic
- On-site breast imaging and diagnostic radiology equipment
- Support: radiology technologists, imaging support staff, radiology and multispecialty backup
Privileges and compliance
- Hospital privileges required
- MQSA case logs required (24 months)
- Submission checklist and modality checklist required at presentation
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina medical license required
- Fellowship training in breast radiology required
- Board eligible within 5 years or board certified
- Epic proficiency required
Compensation and logistics
- Travel, lodging, and car rental covered
- $500 flat rate for completion of hospital modules and Epic personalization
