Clinical Volume & Procedures

- Procedures and responsibilities:
- Pre-, intra-, and post-operative surgical care and surgical assisting in OR
- Suturing
- Endoscopic vein and radial artery harvest
- Interpret EKGs, chest x-rays, labs
- Manage ECMO, IABP, and Impella
- ICU/step-down management
- Perform bedside ultrasound as needed

Requirements
- Active CA license
- Board Certified (BC)
- DEA registration
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- 3–5 years of relevant cardiac surgery PA experience
