Join a supportive team in Morgantown, WV, providing adult outpatient psychiatric care on a locum tenens basis. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, beginning July 1, 2026, for a 3-month contract focused on clinical care.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and medication checks paired with therapy.
- See an average of 11–16 adult patients per day (varies by appointment length).
- Practice within a 25-bed behavioral health unit using Cerner for charting.
Who we’re looking for
- Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Active West Virginia medical license or eligible to obtain one.
- At least one year of clinical experience, including medication management and medication checks integrated with therapy.
Logistics & benefits
- This is supplemental locum coverage.
- Credentialing takes approximately 60 days.
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
