Join Adelphi to provide mental health services for adult offenders at a correctional facility in Nashville, North Carolina. You’ll be part of a clinical team delivering on-site assessments, individual therapy, and consultative support to staff and external providers. This is an ongoing contract/locum opportunity (full-time preferred; part-time considered) covering standard weekday hours.

What you’ll do

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, including cognitive and personality testing.
• Diagnose mental health disorders using accepted tools and methodologies.
• Provide individual therapy and participate in group treatment as needed.
• Interpret assessment results and translate them into practical treatment recommendations.
• Consult with facility staff and outside providers to coordinate care and support treatment planning.
• Document all clinical encounters in HERO (our EMR system).

Who we’re looking for

• Current North Carolina license to practice psychology.
• Master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on clinical psychology.
• Proficiency in psychological testing and interpretation.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in correctional or other high-security behavioral health settings is preferred.
