Requirements:

• Active RN license in Ohio.
• 1–2 years acute care experience in Telemetry, Stepdown, or Cardiac units.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and identify life‑threatening arrhythmias.
• Proficient in continuous telemetry monitoring, IV management, and cardiac medication administration/titration.
• Experience with EMR documentation; willing to complete facility-specific training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly recognize/communicate arrhythmias or changes in cardiac status.
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments with focused cardiac and respiratory exams.
• Administer medications, manage IV infusions, and titrate cardiac drugs per protocol or orders.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies; assist with cardioversion, code responses, and other interventions.
• Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the EMR.
• Manage multiple acute patients while maintaining safe, effective care.
• Care for post‑procedural cardiac patients (e.g., post-catheterization, device placement, heart failure exacerbation).
