Night Float Pool RN – Travel Contract (CPCU/ICU/Med-Surg/Telemetry) | Rockford, IL, $2,182/36h

We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a flexible float pool covering CPCU, ICU, med-surg, and telemetry units in Rockford, IL. This is a night contract/travel position (7p–7:30a) with an ASAP start and a pay rate of $2,182 for a 36-hour assignment.

What you’ll bring

• Current, active RN license for the practicing state.
• Experience in critical care, med-surg, telemetry, or float pool nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and clear communication skills.
• BLS is required; ACLS is preferred for critical care assignments.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate and continuously monitor patients across different units, adjusting care as needed.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
• React quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition or emergencies.
• Provide patient- and family-centered education about care plans and self-management.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and remain flexible to the workflows of varying units.
