General Surgeon — Brattleboro, VT | $285–320K + Productivity, Inpatient/Outpatient (8a–5p)

Join a collaborative surgical team in Brattleboro, Vermont, providing both inpatient and outpatient general surgery care. This permanent, full-time role starts ASAP and continues on an ongoing basis with an 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule. You’ll manage a broad range of cases—hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, appendectomies, colorectal and skin/soft-tissue surgeries, endoscopy, small-bowel obstruction management—and evaluate and treat acute and chronic wounds.

You’ll work alongside anesthesiologists, CRNAs, physician assistants, perioperative and peri-anesthesia teams, emergency clinicians, hospitalists, and the wound clinic team for comprehensive patient care. This position is clinical only.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program
• Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE)
• Active Vermont medical license
• DEA registration
• CPR certification for healthcare providers
• Clean professional record
• Most recent NPDB self-query report

Compensation & benefits:

• Base salary range: $285,000–$320,000 annually (final offer based on experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness)
