Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER), Rockford, IL — Days (7a–7:30p), Contract

Join a contract/travel team in Rockford, IL as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This day-shift role begins ASAP and follows a 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. schedule (36 hours), offering $2,052 per 36-hour shift.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Emergency or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Rapidly triage and assess patients on arrival.
• Deliver medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocol.
• Continuously monitor patient status and escalate changes to physicians and the care team.
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient education.
• Provide clear patient and family teaching about treatment plans and follow-up.
• Contribute to ER quality improvement and safety initiatives.
