• Support staff: CRNA, full complement of scrub techs and circulating nurses

• Current surgical staff: 2 general surgeons + one new hire pending

Procedures expected

• General surgical cases
• Laparoscopic surgery (including cholecystectomy)
• Hernioplasty
• Abdominal vascular surgery
• Chest wall/pleural procedures and chest tube insertion
• Upper and lower GI endoscopy, including colonoscopy
• If trained in pediatric surgery: repair of umbilical defects (omphalocele, hernia), imperforate anus

Requirements

• Active Vermont medical license or participation in IMLC
• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery
• Completion of General Surgery residency
• DEA registration
• CPR and BLS certification
• Proficiency in listed surgical techniques and procedures
• Clean professional record
• Self-query NPDB report dated within the past month
• Preference for local candidates or those willing to travel without flights
