Hematology-Oncology Physician (Colorado Springs) — Inpatient/Outpatient, Rural Outreach, 4x10 Schedule

We’re seeking a Hematology & Oncology physician to join a collaborative team in Colorado Springs, CO. You’ll provide both inpatient and outpatient care within a supportive system that values autonomy and outreach — including travel to rural clinics about six days per month for community-based oncology work.

Schedule and coverage

• Permanent position, clinical responsibilities plus shared call (minimal call ratio).
• Typical workweek: four 10-hour days (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
• Call schedule: to be determined; shared among physicians.
• Coverage starts ASAP and continues on an ongoing basis.

Team and resources

• Join a group of 12 physicians supported by eight APPs and a robust multidisciplinary team that includes nurse navigators and social workers.
• EMR: Epic.
• Strong institutional support for rural medicine and outreach-focused oncology care.

Requirements

• Active Colorado medical license.
• BC/BE in Hematology & Oncology (if BE, certification must be achieved within five years of residency).
• DEA registration.
• Willingness to travel to outreach clinics.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary range: $489,000–$543,000 annually, with eligibility for quality and/or productivity bonuses.
