Required qualifications

• Active RN license in practicing state
• ER experience or acute care background preferred
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or TNCC preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Primary responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients on arrival; prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per orders and protocols
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and promptly communicate with physicians and team members
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient records
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Contribute to ER quality improvement and safety initiatives
