Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of ER and/or ICU experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS required; additional certifications (PALS, TNCC, CCRN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts in a high-acuity setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide critical care and emergency treatment to unstable and high-acuity patients
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-support treatments
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and ventilator settings
- Utilize EMR systems for accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond to medical emergencies, including codes and trauma cases
- Maintain compliance with patient safety and infection control standards
