Overview:
Provide licensed practical nursing services in a school setting, collaborating with school administration to meet student health needs according to professional and facility standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current Florida LPN license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum one year pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver basic nursing care to students
- Administer medications and monitor health status per orders and protocols
- Document nursing care and maintain accurate student health records
- Communicate and coordinate with school staff, parents, and providers about student health needs
- Participate in school health programs and emergency response as required
- Ensure compliance with school policies and nursing standards
- Perform other assigned duties related to school nursing services
