Position: Registered Nurse — Float, Psychiatric (Contract/Travel)
Start: ASAP
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Rate: $2,424 per 40-hour week
Requirements:
- Active RN license in practicing state
- Psychiatric/mental health nursing experience preferred
- BLS required; psychiatric certifications preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, crisis management, and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients’ mental status and safety regularly
- Safely administer medications, treatments, and interventions
- Support and facilitate therapeutic activities
- Provide education to patients and families as indicated
- Document care accurately and report changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff across units
