Join a compassionate hospice team in Grand Junction, CO, on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This day-shift role (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; 40 hours/week) focuses on delivering high-quality end-of-life care. Compensation is $2,004 per 40-hour week.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Prior hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; hospice or palliative care certifications a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and compassionate-care skills

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient condition, including pain and symptom management
• Administer medications and interventions to maintain patient comfort
• Educate patients and families about hospice care, disease progression, and end-of-life planning
• Document care thoroughly and collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team
• Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and their families
