What we’re looking for

  • Current, active LPN license for the state of New Hampshire

What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician guidance—things like medication administration, wound care, IV management, and routine assessments. You’ll perform focused physical exams and medication reviews to help create and follow individualized care plans. Accurate documentation is important: you’ll chart vital signs, changes in condition, treatments given, and any patient education provided.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and documenting vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations)
  • Starting, maintaining, and monitoring IV lines and infusions when required
  • Caring for patients with urinary catheters and watching for related issues
  • Collecting specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing
  • Promoting patient comfort and safety—assisting with positioning, mobility, and pain management
  • Responding to emergencies and providing basic life support as needed
  • Teaching patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and self-care
  • Following strict infection control practices and proper handling/disposal of medications and supplies
  • Encouraging preventive health measures like vaccinations and screenings
  • Advocating for patients and coordinating care with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other staff
  • Supervising CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when required
  • Participating in ongoing education to stay current with nursing standards

Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.

If you’re dependable, patient-centered, and ready to step into a fast-paced role supporting quality care in Franklin, we’d love to hear from you.
