Join a contract travel opportunity in Machias, ME, providing Labor & Delivery and Postpartum nursing care. This position begins ASAP, is for a 40-hour assignment, and pays $3,268/40-hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Experience in labor & delivery or postpartum nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-education skills.
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
• Administer medications and interventions; perform newborn assessments.
• Provide patient and family education on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding.
• Accurately document care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
