Schedule: Wed, Thu, Fri | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Rate: Local: $1,120 / 36 hours

Requirements:

  • Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
  • BLS certification

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care under RN/physician direction (medication administration, wound care, vital signs).
  • Perform patient assessments (physical exam, medical history, medication review) and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately, following protocols and documenting administration.
  • Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds/incisions for infection or complications.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration) and other clinical observations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting condition changes, treatments, and medications.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, self-care, and preventive measures.
  • Initiate and monitor IV therapy and maintain IV lines according to facility policy.
  • Manage urinary catheters (insertion, maintenance, monitoring for complications).
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Address patient comfort and safety needs (positioning, mobility assistance, pain management).
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic life support as required.
  • Follow infection control practices and PPE use; ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of medications and supplies.
  • Uphold patient advocacy and rights; supervise CNAs/UAPs when applicable.
  • Maintain ongoing professional education and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
