Schedule: Sun–Tue, 07:00 AM–07:30 PM — Local rate: $1,094/36 hours

Requirements

  • Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
  • Current BLS certification

Overview
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians in a fast-paced clinical setting. Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments (physical exams, histories, medication reviews) and contribute to individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately, following protocols and documenting administration.
  • Monitor, document, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition.
  • Provide wound care: evaluate, clean, dress, and monitor for infection or complications.
  • Start, monitor, and manage IV medications and fluids; maintain IV lines as appropriate.
  • Care for patients with urinary catheters, including insertion, maintenance, and complication monitoring.
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Support patient comfort and safety: mobility assistance, positioning, pain management.
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, self-care, and preventive health measures.
  • Respond to emergencies, providing basic life support and following established protocols.
  • Follow infection control standards, proper PPE use, and safe handling, storage, and disposal of medications and supplies.
  • Document care accurately and maintain thorough patient records.
  • Advocate for patient rights and coordinate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel as assigned.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with nursing best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
