LPN/LVN – Long-Term Care (15‑Week Contract, Nights in Belen, NM — $1,120/36 hrs)

Join a team in Belen, NM for a 15-week contract (non-travel) opportunity starting ASAP. You’ll work a night shift schedule (Sun, Fri, Sat, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM) and the local rate is $1,120 per 36 hours.

What we’re looking for

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
• BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. Typical duties include medication administration, wound care, IV and catheter management, vital signs monitoring, and thorough documentation of patient status and treatments. You’ll perform patient assessments, help create and follow care plans, collect specimens for labs, and educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and self-care.

You’ll also:

• Administer and monitor IV medications and fluids; ensure IV lines are functioning and secure
• Evaluate and manage wounds and incisions, watching for signs of infection or complications
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Support patient comfort and safety—help with positioning, mobility, and pain management
• Follow infection control practices and use PPE appropriately
• Handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies safely and according to policy
• Respond promptly in medical emergencies and provide basic life support as needed
• Collaborate with the care team—RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff—to coordinate patient-centered care
• Promote preventive health measures like vaccinations and screenings
• Advocate for patients’ needs and rights within the healthcare system
• Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when required
• Keep your nursing knowledge current through ongoing education and training
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
