Travel Medical-Surgical RN (Contract) — Machias, ME

Join a medical-surgical team in Machias, ME on a contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. This 40-hour position offers $2,280 per week and requires a skilled Registered Nurse comfortable providing comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational ability, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred depending on patient population.

Key responsibilities:

• Routinely assess and monitor patients, including vital signs and changing conditions.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
• Accurately document care and promptly communicate updates to the healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding care plans and health management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
