Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) — Long Term Care | Franklin, NH — 13-Week Contract (Evening/Night Shift)

We’re looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a Franklin, NH team on a 13-week contract (non-travel) starting ASAP. This is an overnight shift position (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with a local rate of $1,202 per 36 hours.

What you’ll need

• Active, valid LPN license for the state
• Current BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician direction—things like giving medications, monitoring vitals, and performing wound care. You’ll perform focused patient assessments (health history, physical checks, medication reviews) and help develop and follow individualized care plans. Expect to administer prescribed meds and IV fluids/medications safely, monitor and maintain IV lines, and care for urinary catheters when needed.

Daily tasks include accurate documentation of patient status, treatments, and vital signs; collecting specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for lab testing; and educating patients and families about conditions, meds, and self-care. You’ll watch for signs of infection or complications, manage wounds and dressings, assist with positioning and mobility, and respond to emergencies following facility protocols.

You’ll work closely with the interdisciplinary team—RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other support staff—to coordinate care and advocate for patients’ needs. Infection control, safe medication and supply handling, and patient safety are priorities. Depending on the assignment, you may also supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel.
