Oncology Nurse Navigator (RN) — Contract Travel, Pagosa Springs, CO, Days

Join a team in Pagosa Springs, CO, as a travel RN supporting oncology patients. This daytime role runs Monday–Thursday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and starts ASAP. Compensation is $2,704 for a 40-hour week.

What you’ll do

• Walk patients and families through the cancer care journey, from diagnosis to survivorship.
• Coordinate appointments, diagnostics, and treatments so care flows smoothly.
• Teach patients about their diagnosis, treatment choices, and how to manage side effects.
• Act as the bridge between patients, providers, and the broader care team.
• Spot barriers to care (transportation, financial, social) and connect patients to needed resources.
• Track patient progress and help keep care plans on course.
• Accurately document navigation activities and patient interactions in the EMR.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license (required).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• BLS certification (required).
• Previous oncology nursing experience is preferred; OCN certification is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, and patient-advocacy skills.
