Join a supportive team in Torrance, CA as a locum tenens OB/GYN covering both inpatient and outpatient needs. You’ll provide clinical care and take call, helping to supplement ongoing coverage beginning June 1, 2026.

What the schedule looks like

• Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Call: Nights and weekends, roughly 3–4 days (including weekends) per month
• Call type: beeper response expected within 20–30 minutes; call ratio is 1:4

Typical patient and procedural load

• Average daily patient volume: 18–20
• About 2 surgeries per week
• Procedures include care for low- and high-risk pregnancies, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries, repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations, and office-based minor and surgical gynecology
• Pediatric level: III

Team and systems

• Support staff: 1 APP, 1 RN, and 5 MAs
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital privileges required

Minimum requirements

• Active California medical license
• BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology (if BE, within 5 years of residency)
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certifications
