Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician — Bozeman, MT (Call-Only; Return OB Coverage)

Join a busy OB/GYN team in Bozeman, MT, covering both inpatient and outpatient needs on a locum tenens basis. This role is supplemental coverage—call-only—starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing schedule.

What you’ll do

• Provide return OB (ROBS) coverage on 24-hour shifts (7a–7a).
• Take 2–4 shifts per month, responding to pager calls within 15 minutes.
• Manage admissions and rounding as part of your shift.
• Handle a typical patient volume of about 16 patients per shift; the hospital performs roughly 800 deliveries annually.
• Perform low- and high-risk pregnancy care, fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I screening/viability and Level II targeted/anatomic), routine and complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBACs), and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations.

Team and resources

• You’ll work with 3 APPs, 4 RNs, and 8 MAs.
• Trauma level III.
• Inpatient charting on Epic; outpatient on Cerner.
• Hospital privileges are required; travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

• Active Montana medical license or participation in the IMLC.
• BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• BLS certification.
• Experience using Epic and Cerner.
• Case logs showing at least 50 deliveries and 50 gyn surgical cases in the last 24 months.
