Requirements:

• Active RN license for practice in the state of Ohio.
• Perioperative/OR nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• CNOR or other perioperative specialty certifications preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, instruments, supplies, and the OR environment for surgical procedures.
• Serve as circulator or scrub nurse—assist the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure surgical asepsis.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications as ordered, and respond to changes in condition.
• Accurately document intraoperative care and ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.
• Provide patient and family education regarding pre- and post-operative care.
