- Active RN license
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Previous cardiology or outpatient experience preferred
- Knowledge of cardiac medications and diagnostics
- Strong communication and patient education skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in outpatient cardiology setting
- Obtain cardiac-focused assessments and vital signs
- Perform EKGs and assist with cardiac testing
- Administer medications and monitor patient response
- Provide patient education on cardiac conditions and lifestyle changes
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostics, and follow-up care
- Triage patient calls and address clinical concerns
- Document care and communications in the EMR
