Join a tight-knit OR team in Meeker, CO — a contract travel opportunity starting ASAP. This is a day-shift position (36 hours) focused on orthopedic cases, paying $2,358 per 36-hour period.

What you’ll bring

• Active RN license.
• 1–2+ years of operating room experience, ideally with orthopedic cases.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic procedures, instruments, and care for joint replacement, trauma, or spine cases.
• CNOR certification.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

What you’ll do

• Set up and organize the OR for orthopedic procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready.
• Verify surgical consents, confirm patient identity, and review procedure details before surgery.
• Coordinate workflow between surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff to keep cases moving smoothly.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow safety and infection-control protocols.
• Monitor patients’ condition before, during, and after surgery, advocating for safety and comfort.
• Document perioperative nursing care accurately and communicate changes as needed.
