Join a Vermont team delivering comprehensive orthopedic care in Brattleboro. This permanent role covers both inpatient and outpatient settings, responding to a current vacancy and providing clinical work plus call coverage. The start date is ASAP with ongoing coverage; schedules for regular days and rotational call will be determined.

What you'll do

  • Evaluate and diagnose orthopedic conditions using history, physical exams, and imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT).
  • Create personalized treatment plans and manage patients through pre-op and post-op stages.
  • Perform a range of orthopedic procedures including joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, and other interventions.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.

Who we’re looking for

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Active Vermont medical license.
  • Valid DEA registration.
  • Clean professional record and most recent NPDB self-query report.
  • Current CPR certification for healthcare providers.

Compensation and benefits

  • Annual salary range: $300,000–$360,000 (in accordance with Vermont Act 155).
  • Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
