Rate: Travel: $1,995/35 hrs; Local: $1,967/35 hrs

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a 14-week contract in Lower Township (North Cape May), NJ. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and consistent documentation of patient progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and dysphagia disorders.
• Diagnose communication deficits and determine severity using clinical exams and diagnostic tools.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders; instruct patients in safe swallowing techniques.
• Recommend and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on strategies, home programs, and carryover activities.
• Monitor and document progress; modify plans based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members to support coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, plans, progress notes).
• Promote generalization of communication skills to daily, school, and work environments.
• Participate in professional development to remain current in SLP practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.
