Requirements

• Current, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Position overview
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical evaluations and diagnostic testing to identify communication and swallowing impairments and determine severity.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals based on patient needs.
• Implement therapy targeting articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and dysphagia management.
• Recommend and provide training for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, strategies, and safety techniques to support progress and functional communication.
• Monitor and document patient progress; modify treatment plans as indicated.
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills across home, school, and work settings.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain precise, up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and perform other duties as assigned by management.
