Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluations and diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing impairments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific goals and measurable outcomes.
• Provide evidence-based therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
• Evaluate and treat dysphagia; train patients in safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families/caregivers on treatment strategies, home programs, and carryover techniques.
• Monitor, document, and update patient progress; revise treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records, including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
• Support patients in generalizing communication skills to daily, educational, and work settings.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
