Requirements:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic tools
• Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing impairments
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and dysphagia
• Implement strategies and training for safe swallowing; recommend and manage compensatory techniques
• Evaluate need for and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
• Educate patients and families on home programs, strategies, and exercises
• Monitor, document, and update patient progress; modify treatment plans as indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other care team members to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records including assessments, plans, and progress notes
• Facilitate generalization of communication skills to daily life, school, or work settings
• Participate in professional development to stay current in SLP practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
