Locum tenens opportunity in Flagstaff, AZ providing 24-hour beeper call coverage for adult patients at a 269-bed Level I trauma acute care hospital. Coverage begins April 13, 2026 and is ongoing; shifts are 24-hour (7:00 AM–7:00 AM). Remote Cerner training (~4 hours) is provided the week prior to start.

Scope of practice

• Manage general urology inpatient consults, phone consults, and emergency urologic procedures
• Provide inpatient urology management and perform required procedures
• Round as needed for consults and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and APP support (daytime)
• Document all encounters in Cerner and ensure timely completion of medical records

Facility and support

• Acute care hospital with full specialty backup and standard urology equipment
• APP support available during daytime
• EMR: Cerner

Privileges, credentialing, and compliance

• Hospital privileges required; emergency/temporary credentialing available
• Expedited credentialing for clean files; case logs required
• Remote EMR training prior to start

Requirements

• Active Arizona medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• DEA registration
• Minimum 1 year of clinical urology experience
• Standard urology certifications and case logs for credentialing
