Join a Silverdale, WA facility as locum tenens urology coverage for inpatient and outpatient service. This supplemental clinical role includes scheduled shifts (8a–4p) with beeper call (1:6 ratio). Coverage begins ASAP and is ongoing; specific coverage blocks include weekends and multiple weekly assignments through August with continued availability desired.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general urology care across clinic, OR, and on-call settings
• Routine procedures: cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, TURP, vasectomy, Botox injections, ESWL, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans
• Major procedures as needed: nephrectomy, cystectomy
• Rounding and inpatient coverage (hospitalists manage admissions)
• Expect ~20–25 patients/day, 20–30 surgeries/month
• Call details: 5–6 call days per period; nights 5p–8a; weekend coverage typically 7a–7a; ~80% callbacks, 20% consults

Support, systems, and environment

• Solo urology coverage with support from 2 RNs, 1 MA, surgery scheduler, and 2 front office staff
• Trauma Level III hospital; robot available for cases
• EMR: Epic
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided

Requirements

• BC/BE in Urology
• Active WA medical license or participation in IMLC
• DEA registration
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Self-query NPDB report

Shift examples (selected): Apr 20–24 (weekend calls Apr 18–19, 25–26); May 4–8; Jun 22–26, Jun 29–Jul 3; Jul and Aug weekly blocks as listed — ongoing availability preferred.
