Locums Urology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Urology Physician to provide weekend call coverage at a facility in Richmond, IN. This opportunity is ideal for a provider with strong general urology experience who is comfortable managing complex catheter cases. Multiple weekend dates are currently open for 2025, with additional coverage needs expected into 2026.

 

Assignment Details:

 

• Coverage Type: Weekend Call Coverage (Inpatient/ED consults and procedures)
• Shift Schedule:
• Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Current Open Dates (2025):
• June 6 – June 9
• August 22 – August 25
• September 12 – September 15
• October 24 – October 27
• December 12 – December 15
• Future Coverage: Ongoing weekends into 2026 

Responsibilities:

 

• Manage all general urology cases
• Provide consults and procedures in hospital and emergency settings
• Perform and manage difficult catheterizations
• Provide call coverage including patient rounds and emergency response 

Requirements:

 

·         Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years of residency)

·         Active Virginia License or IMLC/Compact License

·         Minimum 2 years of recent urology experience

·         BLS (AHA-issued)

·         ACLS (AHA-issued) – Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges

·         COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
