Job Description
- One full week per month, M-F 7am-5pm with weeknight and weekend call
- Average 6.75 new consults daily, inpatient list 15-40 patients
- Inpatient and acute practice only
- General neurosurgery including cranial and spinal trauma management
- Craniotomy for evacuation of hematomas or tumors required
- Spinal procedures including decompressions and instrumentation
- Majority adults and geriatrics with some adolescent and pediatric
- 4-8 added surgical cases weekly from call
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
