Emergency Department System Director

Lane Emergency Physicians LLC is seeking an experienced, board-certified physician leader to serve as Emergency Department System Director overseeing three Emergency Departments across Oregon. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for clinical excellence, operational performance, and strategic growth across a multi-site system.

Position Overview

The System Director will provide visionary leadership and administrative oversight for three Emergency Departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while advancing system-wide goals. This role partners closely with hospital executives, physician leaders, and clinical teams to optimize performance, quality, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for three Emergency Departments
• Drive clinical quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives
• Standardize best practices across sites while respecting local needs
• Lead and mentor physician and advanced practice provider teams
• Collaborate with hospital and system leadership on growth and service line development
• Oversee staffing models, throughput, and performance metrics
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards are met

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience in Emergency Medicine
• Proven leadership experience within at least one Level II Trauma Center or higher
• Demonstrated success in multi-site or system-level leadership preferred
• Strong track record in quality improvement, operations, and team development
