Job Description
A community health center in northeast Texas is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage. This is a full-time outpatient opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and strong patient volume.
Position Overview
- Assignment Length: minimum 3 months
- Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Wednesday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Setting: Collaborative outpatient clinic with dedicated office support staff
- Patient Volume: 20–22 patients per day
- Patient Population: Newborn to 18 years
- Appointment Type: Scheduled patients only
- Call: None
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
- Licensure: Active Texas license required
- Certifications: DEA and PALS required
